CERF 2023 Family Friendliness

Enjoy the Time with Your Loved Ones

CERF strives to provide a supportive atmosphere for parents and caregivers attending our conference. Each year we try to provide specific offers for families.

Children are welcome at conference sessions/workshops, in the exhibit hall, poster sessions, and receptions (Sunday through Thursday evenings) provided they are accompanied at all times by registered adult attendees. Children can even get their own conference badges at the registration desk! Please keep in mind that alcohol will be served at evening events. Parents are asked to show consideration to the presenters and other attendees by being proactive to avoid disruptions to the scientific program.

Child Care

Families will be able to register for onsite childcare at the conference through the company KiddieCorp. Childcare and youth programs are available for children ages six months to 12 years in room G131-132 of the Oregon Convention Center. KiddieCorp has worked for over 37 years to provide safe and engaging childcare at conferences; all staff are carefully vetted for their integrity, experience, education, and enthusiasm! Snacks will be provided; however will be provided; however, parents must provide lunch.
