How to Download the Mobile App
The conference schedule on the app will display in your current time zone. The times on the schedule will not be accurate until you are in the Pacific Standard Time Zone. There will not be a printed program provided for this conference. If you would like to print the CERF 2023 schedule on your own, you can download a spreadsheet version that includes all of the conference events. The password to access the network is CERF2023. Oregon Convention CenterThe Oregon Convention Center's central location makes getting there easy, and Portland’s modern public transit system is the best! Portland’s TriMet MAX light rail stops 300 times a day at the front door of the OCC, connecting riders to downtown, surrounding neighborhoods, the Oregon Zoo, and Portland International Airport. Each attendee can pick up a complimentary TriMet Transit pass at registration desk located in Pre-Function D of the OCC. The Portland Streetcar Central Loop stops at the OCC's MLK Lobby entrance every 15 minutes. On days with a busy event schedule, public transportation provides the easiest arrival and departure experience. Cashless Venue To provide a faster, more efficient transaction process, the OCC will only accept credit/debit cards and touchless payment methods. Cash-to-card machines, also known as reverse ATMs, are free to use and are located on Level 1 near the South Ginkoberry Entrance and in the Pre-Function B area near the ATMs. Learn MoreParking at OCCOnsite parking is provided in the convention center's underground garage. You may enter the garage through either the NE Lloyd Boulevard (P1) or NE First Avenue (P2) entrances. Clearance on the P1 Level is 7 feet; clearance on the P2 Level is 9 feet. There is a total of 800 spaces. The standard daily parking rate is $12, but a dynamic rate of $12 - $20 will be charged at parking garage entry during events. While light appetizers will be served at the receptions and poster sessions, all meals at CERF 2023 will be done on your own. Attendees can dine at an on-site eatery or visit local restaurants near the OCC. We encourage you to bring your own water bottles and travel mugs to reduce waste! Onsite During the CERF conference, the Oregon Convention Center will have Portland Coffee Roaster's II located at the South Ginkoberry Concourse (open 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM PT) and Lovejoy's Eatery located at the Ginkoberry Concourse and Exhibit Hall D (open 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM PT). Learn MoreOnsite ChildcareCERF strives to provide a supportive atmosphere for parents and caregivers attending our conference. Children are welcome at sessions, workshops, in the exhibit hall, poster sessions, and receptions, provided that they are accompanied at all times by registered adult attendees. Children can even get their own conference badges at the registration desk! Please keep in mind that alcohol will be served at evening events. Parents are asked to show consideration to the presenters and other attendees by being proactive to avoid disruptions to the scientific program. KiddieCorp is providing onsite childcare and youth programs for children ages six months to 12 years in G131-132 at the OCC. There are only 9 spots left and these will be first come, first serve. A family lounge with suites for nursing parents, a working parent meetup, scavenger hunt, and kids poster session are all part of our family friendly offerings. We are excited to feature one of our favorite in-person CERF conference events by once again hosting a Silent Auction at CERF 2023. All proceeds from the auction benefit the Odum/Nixon Fund. Only attendees of the CERF conference may make bids. Bidding opened on 31 October 2023. Auction items will be displayed on site, but bids will be taken on the Bidding Owl website. Bidding will end Wednesday, 15 November at 6:00 PM PT. All items must be paid for by Thursday, 16 November at 12:00 PM PT. If items need to be shipped, the shipping fees will be passed onto the winning bidder. View Auction |
